Increase of confirmed cases of influenza A(H1N1) is slowing down
Confirmed cases of influenza A(H1N1) were altogether 2489 in 24 countries, an increase of 272 from the day before, according to information from ECDC.
The majority of confirmed new cases was reported in the USA, Mexico and Canada, even though the new cases were considerably fewer this morning than they were yesterday morning, according to the ECDC situation report for today.
In Iceland, no cases of influenza have been diagnosed so far, apart from cases of the “regular” seasonal influenza.
