Eleven cases of influenza A(H1N1)v confirmed in Iceland
Three new cases of influenza A(H1N1) have been confirmed in Iceland since the last report on 15 July 2009. The total number of cases diagnosed in Iceland since May 2009 is therefore eleven. The patients are a girl eight years of age arriving from Spain 10 July, a male 30 years of age who had not been traveling abroad and not in contact with a known case of influenza, a woman 19 years of age arriving from Mexico 14 July, and a woman 35 years of age arriving from Australia 14 July. All of the travelers fell ill after the arrival to Iceland.
