News on influenza A(H1N1)

Twenty three cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland.
Within the last 48 hours five additional cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland. The total number of cases confirmed is therefore 23. The five recent cases are a tourist 19 years of age from USA arriving in Iceland 21 July 09, a woman 32 years of age arriving from USA 16 July 09, three women 25-32 years of age all of whom had contact with confirmed cases in Iceland. None of these five cases had serious illness.
