News on influenza A(H1N1)

Forty six cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland.

Within the last 48 hours 12 additional cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland. The total number of cases confirmed is therefore 46.
The 12 are four males and eight women 14-56 years of age. One was tourist from Luxemburg,  five were Icelandic travelers infected abroad and six were infected in Iceland.
None of these 12 cases had serious illness.
